This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use Seoul Oncology Creative Platform (the “Service”).

- Account Information: Name, email address, login credentials, and other registration details.
- Device & Usage Data: Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and interaction logs with our Service.
- Health & Biometric Data: Data obtained through connected wearable devices (e.g., Fitbit) such as heart rate, activity, sleep, or other health indicators, only when you authorize such integration.
- Communication Data: Inquiries, feedback, and messages sent to our support channels.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Provide and maintain the Service, including personalized insights or analytics.
- Analyze treatment progress and patient engagement through biometric indicators.
- Enhance user experience and improve Service functionality.
- Respond to user inquiries and technical support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
5. Biometric & Health Data
If you connect a wearable device such as Fitbit, we may process biometric data (e.g., heart rate, sleep, step count) solely to provide the Service — for example, the analysis of cancer patient treatment progress based on biometric data. We do not use such data for marketing or share it with third parties without your explicit consent.
Important: We are not a healthcare provider. The Service and any analytics provided are for informational and research purposes only, not for diagnosis or treatment.
5-1. Google Health Connect Data (SOC Health App)
Our mobile application SOC Health reads health and fitness data from Google Health Connect on Android devices. This data is collected only with your explicit permission granted through the Health Connect permissions dialog.
Data Types We Read
- Heart Rate: Real-time heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV)
- Activity: Steps, distance, active/total calories burned, exercise sessions, active zone minutes
- Sleep: Sleep sessions, sleep stages (deep, light, REM, awake), sleep duration
- Vitals: Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiratory rate, body temperature
- Body Measurements: Weight, height, body fat, basal metabolic rate
- Wearable Sensors: Real-time sensor data from Samsung Galaxy Watch (heart rate, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, skin temperature) via Wear OS Data Layer
How We Use Health Connect Data
- To display health metrics and trends on your personal dashboard
- To support clinical research and treatment progress monitoring (with your consent)
- To sync data securely to our server for persistent storage and analysis
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not write or modify any data in Health Connect — we only read.
- We do not sell Health Connect data to third parties.
- We do not use Health Connect data for advertising or marketing purposes.
- We do not share identifiable Health Connect data with third parties without your explicit consent.
You can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time through your device's Settings → Apps → Health Connect → App permissions.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent for processing biometric or sensitive data.
- Request data portability or restriction of processing.
- File a complaint with a data protection authority.

8-1. Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request deletion of all personal and health data associated with your account. To request data deletion:
- Email: Send a request to support@seouloncologylab.org with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your registered user ID.
- In-App: Contact support through the SOC Health app settings.
Upon receiving your request, we will delete all your personal data, including health and biometric data, within 30 days. You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete. Please note that some data may be retained if required by applicable laws or regulations.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be transferred and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and include appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
